Deep back massage method with Al-Fatihah recitation is more effective in reducing pain intensity in pregnant women during active first stage of labor. The Research Design Quasi-experimental design was used in this study to determine whether there was a difference in the effectiveness of deep back massage methods without Al-Fatihah and with Al-Fatihah in reducing pain intensity in primigravidas during active first stage of labor.
